You’ve been incredible in your support for the NHS team as they’ve battled on the frontline, putting their lives on the line to save ours.

No wonder there was such an outcry when Boris Johnson said that all the NHS staff in England would get to show for their countless sacrifices is a lousy one per cent on their pay.

After more than a decade of wage cuts and freezes, millions of hours of unpaid overtime, the exhaustion and their dedication to our protection, our NHS staff deserve so much better than this.

This April Fools’ Day, please help us show that this pay insult is no laughing matter.
