For those members of staff that are Unite members and have applied for a flexible working pattern or have a current flexible working pattern that they do not wish to change and have received a letter asking them to accept the change to their contract, it is important you do not sign/agree or click on the link to say you accept the changes unless you do.
Unite will supply a letter to each member that requires one to send to management stating you do not accept the change to your contract.
We have discussed with the Chief Constable and Deputy Chief Constable of our intention, if required to take some form of industrial action.
Force Contact are, in Unites opinion, not following force policy in respect of the flexible working policy and/or legal requirements and also which goes against the Chiefs People deal.
