2 year Free Membership (UFS) – to be Discontinued
I write to advise you that as of 20th December 2021 the new membership package which was available to your members who had found themselves out of work due to a COVID 19 related redundancy is no longer applicable. Therefore, should you be aware of any members who are facing redundancy or are actively seeking employment, could you please advise them of the Back to Work (B2W) membership package, which is 55p per week and the package offers similar benefits as the former UFS membership, as per below:

· Wellbeing
· Guides on the benefits system.
· Legal Advice; redundancy and severance payments or non-work related matters
To ensure as many of your members are aware of our B2W package, it would be really useful if, as soon as you are aware of any redundancies within your branch, could you email our membership inbox Member.ContactWM@unitetheunion.org or call the dedicated RMU number 0121 647 4300 and provide us with the member’s name and membership number and we will make contact and discuss the B2W membership, in the hope to retain them.
